Meet Ellie!

Born and bred a north London girl, Ellie, better known as “El” is Team Leader for the SEN Yellow team. She has a passion for music and loves a jam on the guitar or getting down to the theatre. She’s a big traveller and has a passion for SEN schools – so fits right in with the Vibe team!

Tell us about your story with Vibe

I was working at College Park school and met heaps of lovely Vibers while I was there.  By chance I bumped into Josh (SEN Manager) in an airport and we talked about coming in to the office.  The rest is history!

What do you love most about working with Vibe?

I love coming to work in such an upbeat office with so many fun and lovely colleagues.  It’s also really helped me to improve my Aussie and Kiwi accents ?

What’s the best thing about living in London?

Having close access to so many cool places and meeting so many diverse people.

What’s your favourite area in London? Why?

Notting Hill. I love the movie, but also love the great food and markets!

What’s your favourite pub in London?

The Garden Gate at Hampstead. It’s next to the beautiful Hampstead Heath, has amazing Sunday roasts and lots of board games. P.S. Jude Law lives around the corner and we locked eyes one time he was there…

What’s one of your best travel experiences?

Spending a month travelling around India.  Backpacking there, especially up north, was amazing and the people are incredible.

What are your top tips for teachers in London?

Be flexible, enjoy new experiences, meet great people and have fun!

What/who are you most inspired by?

My Mum! If I can grow up to be half the woman she is, I’ll be proud.
