Earlier this year, Sophie got married to her Aussie husband Koby and had their two-year old boy Oscar by their side.
Tell us about your story with Vibe
I returned to London and contacted Vibe in search for some teaching work. I taught in a lot of Vibe’s SEN schools before joining the SEN team in the office…and now I am running the SEN Team!

The people in the office and the colourful and bright environment.
What’s the best thing about living in London?
The ease of being able to travel to Europe!

London Bridge, near the Thames – Queens Walkway is so pretty and quiet! You can take in the Thames, Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast from the one spot
What’s your favourite pub in London?
There are so many! The Leather Bottle in Earlsfield is up there for summer and Princess Victoria for winter and scotch eggs.

We went to Turkey for our honeymoon – the Dalyan tombs and mud baths were definite highlights – as was the 5 star resort we stayed in!
What are your top tips for teachers in London?
Say ‘yes!’ Don’t be scared and embrace new opportunities. Also, Citymapper is your friend!
What/who are you most inspired by?
Anyone who has overcome adversity in their life and turned it into a positive. It’s inspiring and humbling to hear challenges people have faced and how they use this as motivation, not an excuse.
