Full of banter, laughter and high-fives, the cracking atmosphere at our Barefoot Bowls events in May gave our big and bright community of teachers loads to smile about!
You’ll find that when the sun comes out in London, your spirits are lifted high, and this was certainly true for our community of teachers who gathered together at our local bowling club for an afternoon of drinks, food and barefoot bowls.
There was infectious energy amongst the Vibers who were pumped to be playing alongside good mates. And for those teachers fresh to our community, it was a great opportunity to have a laugh with new friends and meet the legendary Vibe team.
In the buzz of the warm English sun, we rolled our bowls down the green with all the flair and precision we could muster. Thanks to the pro tips offered by our Ravenscourt Park Bowling Club friends, Susan, Roland and John, some of us even managed to play a competitive game, becoming convinced that a professional career in the sport might just be in reach…just!
The stakes were high not only during the games of bowls themselves, but also in the prize giveaways we had on offer from some of our mates who joined us. We were pumped to inspire our lucky-door prize winners with cracking travel deals from Stoke Travel and Busabout, as well as a hamper of much-loved treats. And, of course, an afternoon in the sun is not complete without a classic sausage sizzle!
We love discovering the best experiences London has to offer and sharing them with you, and from all we’ve heard, an afternoon on the green is one to remember.
