It’s no secret that we want to INSPIRE BETTER EDUCATION. An office full of Teachers wouldn’t have it any other way! But it’s keeping this Vision at the forefront of what we do each day that really makes the magic happen.
The Vision is incredibly important TO US, but equally important is what our Vision does FOR US! A strong vision fosters meaning in the work we do. By creating a greater sense of purpose, we contribute towards something bigger than ourselves, that we feel proud to be a part of.
We come to work every day knowing that we are doing something that matters! Teaching, Placing Teachers and building relationships with our Community has an outcome greater than the sum of the individual parts. If you’ve been into the Vibe office, you’ll see the hours and work ethic the Vibers invest in this purpose. When your work is meaningful, you WORK HARD!
We have a MISSION!
We want to MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY! A direct result of our Vision is the fact that happy people work harder at what they do. To be BETTER EDUCATORS we need happy Teachers and happy Teachers placing Teachers! Whether you call it Happiness, fulfilment or having a sense of purpose in your work, we want it and want others to have it too.
By getting to know our schools and community we become experts in matching roles that suit teachers’ skills and schools’ needs. We do this by going out to teach in our schools (often at short notice when a school makes a late supply call), fostering a community where people feel valued and getting to know our teachers at social events. Through this Mission we offer SOMETHING BETTER to our Teachers and Schools.

Community is key to us and our FAMILY of educators, both in London and worldwide, are a core part of our work. We take pride in the Vibe badge and know that our Vibe Family do too. Whether it’s a friendly catch up with a teacher on a Monday morning over the phone, a cheeky beer at the pub on a Friday after a big week in the classroom, or some cake and eggnog at a school Christmas party, we ride the rollercoaster of London life with our community. We aim to ensure everyone feels supported, socially and professionally, during their time in this INSPIRING place.
Our parties are rocking, and our community is the best, so we’re all over social health! But HEALTH is multi-dimensional. We start with Healthy Eating. We’re encouraged to eat well and provide healthy meals and snacks to keep us switched on throughout the day, as well as a coffee machine that gets a great workout ?. A flexible lunch break allows us time to hit the gym or head across to Ravenscourt Park for group lead PT sessions. During School Holidays we encourage our teachers to join us too! We work hard to be the best and being a competitive bunch, we push each other in the gym as well as the office, but always work to ensure we can fit in some down time. We structure shifts so we can hand over any urgent work to designated late finishers.
We build a culture of HAPPINESS around the office through team support. In a high pressure, high stakes environment like ours, it’s easy to let negativity creep in. We encourage Honesty, Authenticity, Integrity and Love (HAIL) between and from the Vibe team; and openly call out the 7 Deadly Sins of Communication if they slip out (Negativity, Gossip, Judging, Complaining, Excuses, Dogmatism & Exaggeration). We do weekly shout-outs of appreciation to fellow Vibers and the Management Team empower us to work to our strengths. We challenge each other to better ourselves through book clubs and to share what we’ve learned about leadership from our Vibe Library and from each other.
